I-4 Ultimate

Two express lanes in each direction are currently under construction in Orlando as part of the I-4 Ultimate improvement project from west of Kirkman Road to SR 434. The 21-mile construction began in 2015 and is expected to be completed in late 2021.

    Vehicle Eligibility

    Only two-axle vehicles will be permitted. Trucks with three or more axles will not be allowed.

    Vehicles must have an active SunPass or another interoperable transponder.

    Transit buses, school buses and vanpools will be allowed, but they must be registered and renewed annually for an exemption. Click here for more info.

    You may enter Eastbound I-4 Express:

       East of Sand Lake

       Direct Connection from Grand National Drive

       Direct Connection from Florida’s Turnpike Northbound

       East of Conroy Road

       Direct Connection from Anderson Street

       Direct Connection from Ivanhoe Boulevard

       East of Kennedy Boulevard

    You may exit Eastbound I-4 Express:

       Direct Connection to Grand National Drive

       East of John Young Parkway

       Direct Connection to SR 408

       Direct Connection to South Street

       East of SR 423 / Lee Road

       East of SR 414 / Maitland Boulevard

       Direct Connection to Central Parkway

       East of SR 434

    You may enter Westbound I-4 Express:

       West of Lake Mary Boulevard

       Direct Connection from Central Parkway

       West of SR 436 / East Altamonte Drive

       West of Kennedy Boulevard

       Direct Connection from South Street

       West of Orange Blossom Trail

       Direct Connection from Grand National Drive

    You may exit Westbound I-4 Express :

       West of SR 414 / Maitland Boulevard

       Direct Connection to Ivanhoe Boulevard

       Direct Connection to South Street

       Direct Connection to SR 408
