Beachline Expressway

528 / Beachline Expressway in Orlando has two managed lanes in each direction for 8 miles from McCoy Road to I-4. The managed lanes from Florida’s Turnpike to I-4 opened in July 2019, and the lanes from McCoy Road to Florida’s Turnpike are expected to open in May 2020. This project is currently being converted form an Express Lane to a Thru Lane.

    Vehicle Eligibility

    Only two-axle vehicles are permitted. Trucks with three or more axles are not allowed.

    Vehicles must have an active SunPass or another interoperable transponder.

    Transit buses, school buses and vanpools are allowed, but they must be registered and renewed annually for an exemption. Click here for more info.

    Entrances and Exits

    There are two express lanes open between Florida’s Turnpike and McCoy Road.

    Stay left for express lanes and right for local travel. Follow the overhead guide signs.

    You may exit EastboundBeachline:

       East of McCoy Road / Jetport Drive

    You may enter Westbound Beachline:

        West of Tradeport Drive / Conway Road

        West of Consulate Drive / Florida’s Turnpike
